We are back!

It has been a very long time!

So much has happened over the last year that it will take a number of posts to catch you up.

We are all doing fine and still loving our lifestyle.

I will be posting over the next few days about what has been going on with us so stay tuned.

Yep...This Is Texas!

As we told you a few weeks ago we made it here to Texas.

The last few weeks have been busy and kind of a blur for us.

We are getting acclimated to the weather - which is great for winter. It has been in the 70s and mid 60s.

The landscape here is very different from what we are accustomed to.

Actually it reminds me a lot of the interior of Florida from years ago.

The people here have been very nice to us.

We have developed a list of the things we want to see while we are is a very long list!

It still feels funny - this traveling thing. To still be in your "house" but your house is somewhere else.

We open our door and...yep...theres Texas.

We will be updating much more now. We already have some observations to share with you.

Need to get going already this morning but will write again tomorrow.

We are here!

We made it to San Antonio safe and sound.

We are a little tired but glad to be here.

It was windy yesterday while driving but no rain which was good.

Our trip was uneventful other than having one of our roof vent covers break - no idea why that happened. We have covers over all of our vents but still managed to break one.

The campground is very nice and we were treated to a beautiful sunset on our first night here.

We drove around a little and saw 13 deer feeding down by the river.

Once we get things setup we will update you some more.

Waco, TX.

After driving in the rain today we are in Waco, TX for the night.

Tomorrow we arrive in San Antonio.

Today was a very long day between the heavy rain and playing tag with semi trucks.

Looking forward to getting to SA tomorrow and getting settled.
